"Den of Hearts" has a very stylized approach to its look development. Therefore, the textures for the game typically consist of flat colors and painterly brush strokes. As mentioned before, I had no part in the concept for these caves apart from verbal ideation. That was done by my good friend, John Swartwout, and it was very fun to work from!

Den of Hearts:

Cave System

An environment and 286 piece modular cave kit created for Triglyph Games' upcoming title, Den of Hearts.

This cave, still littered with ancient relics, serves as a place for the player to reflect and gain insight.

 

 My main contributions included modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and lighting all assets in scene.

Not responsible for concept or crystal shader, although I edited it.

Scene rendered in UE4.
